Auction Highlights

The exquisite Serengeti Sunrise pendant from Graystone Jewelers is one-of-a-kind & designed with the Zoo in mind! This spectacular piece has a 5.11 ct. rhodolite garnet surrounded by 7 multi-colored sapphires and adorned with diamond sprinkles – all set in 18 ct. white-gold. This extravagant piece is sure to attract the attention of many with its shimmer and shine! Pendant is currently estimated at well above $5000, with the final value to be determined. We will be posting photos once the piece is complete, so please check back soon.

Up-close Animal Encounters & Zookeeper Talks

White opossum—Opossums are already strange, but a white one is even weirder! Rare, but not a true albino.
You have to see this guy!
Friends from the Barnyard—Donkeys and/or other barnyard animals will bring that farm-fresh spirit to Zootini.
Creepy Crawlies, Oh My! Hissing cockroaches, tarantulas, & snakes up-close. Yikes!
Zoo Interpreter Program Aviary cart—Explore the wild world of birds! Discover a variety of feathers, eggs, skulls & more and test your bird-spotting skills at this new station in the Aviary.
Humboldt Wildlife Care Center—Stand in awe of a Great horned owl & Red-tailed hawk and learn more about these magnificent animals from their handlers at the Humboldt Wildlife Care Center.

Note: Since animal welfare is at the top of all Zoo decisions, all encounters are subject to change, but we hope they will be feeling the Zootini spirit on August 13th.
