Ways You Can Help: Giving Opportunities

There are many ways for zoo enthusiasts to donate to the zoo; every dollar helps and is more than appreciated.

General Support
Make a General Donation now! An unrestricted gift to Sequoia Park Zoo helps us achieve our mission to promote and stimulate interest in the Sequoia Park Zoo and support the zoo’s development, operation and educational programs through fundraising, marketing, and other initiatives designed to enhance the zoo experience. Funds support community events, exhibit renovations and improvements, new projects and more.

Memorial Benches
Zoo Benches are a great way to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery during your visit to the Sequoia Park Zoo. Commemorate a special event or provide a lasting memorial. Your special message will be be engraved on a bronze plaque and placed on the upper portion of the bench. Made of recycled plastic, they are environmentally friendly and quite comfortable. Available in 4 and 6 foot lengths.

Flamingo Society
Donors who make a minimum gift of $500 to the Sequoia Park Zoo Foundation within one calendar year are eligible to join this distinctive family of generous and community-minded friends. Benefits include invitation to an annual recognition event, membership pin and more. Your gift supports the progress and improvement of a cornerstone of our community - the Zoo. Adopt an Animal
Add a member of our family to your family! You can Adopt an Animal at Sequoia Park Zoo and become a "Zoo-per" caretaker. By adopting your favorite friend at the zoo, you help to take part in their care. It’s a terrific way to commemorate birthdays, holidays, and many other special occasions. Animal Adoptions make great classroom mascots, too.

Bill Bill's Legacy League
The Sequoia Park Zoo Foundation has established Bill's Legacy League to recognize our philanthropic friends who make deferred or planned gifts to the Sequoia Park Zoo. This select group is open to anyone who names Sequoia Park Zoo Foundation as a beneficiary in his or her will, charitable trust, or life insurance policy. With a planned gift to the Sequoia Park Zoo Foundation, you can experience the deep personal satisfaction of knowing you are helping to ensure the Sequoia Park Zoo’s future.
