Bill’s Legacy League

Bill left his mark on our community – What will your legacy be?

The Bill’s Legacy League at the Sequoia Park Zoo Foundation recognizes donors who have chosen to support the future of the zoo through their estate plan. The Sequoia Park Zoo has been an integral part of the community for over 100 years and is the oldest zoo in California. With a planned gift to the Sequoia Park Zoo Foundation, you can experience the deep personal satisfaction of knowing you are helping to ensure Sequoia Park Zoo’s future.

For information about bequests, please contact Julie Benbow, Executive Director, at (707) 442-5649 x 201 or email ten.o1568726884ozkra1568726884paiou1568726884qes@e1568726884iluj1568726884.

An Invitation to Join Bill’s Legacy League

Members of Bill’s Legacy League have expressed their commitment to the Sequoia Park Zoo Foundation through a very special and important form of financial support. These donors have named the zoo as the beneficiary of a planned gift. We would like to invite you to consider joining the Bill’s Legacy League. The most important benefit you will receive is the satisfaction of making a long-term contribution to ensure that the zoo will continue to prosper for future generations to enjoy. Additional benefits of membership include:

  • Invitation to an annual brunch
  • Behind-the-scenes zoo tour featuring an exclusive report from the zoo manager and up-close animal encounters
  • Sneak peek previews to new exhibits, special events, and more.

Benefits of Planned Giving

Through planned giving you may be able to increase your current income or provide additional retirement income, while reducing income tax and estate taxes. Some gifts virtually eliminate estate taxes while others greatly reduce the amount of tax you are responsible for during your lifetime.  There are no ongoing dues or fees to maintain membership in Bill’s Legacy League. It is important to explore your options with an estate planning attorney to maximize your tax benefits. Learn more about the benefits of planned giving.
