April 2, 2014—Join the Easter bunny and a whole host of animals to celebrate spring at Sequoia Park Zoo during the 16th annual Great Zoo Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 19 from 12-4 p.m.

Watch the animals hunt for their own “eggs” as they dig into special treats before you set off on your own Egg Hunt and Eggspedition – children can join in the hunt at any time between noon and 4 p.m. There will be up close animal encounters and we’ll have a team of volunteers on hand to guide children (and adults) through an egg-citing array of activities, including:

  • Egg Hunt and Egg Decorating
  • Photos with the Easter Bunny (mascot)
  • Bunny ‘petting’ in the Barnyard
  • Honey Bee Toss
  • Bunny Hop
  • Insect Hide & Seek
  • Wildflower Crafts
  • Butterfly Clothespin Crafts

Did you know members join the fun for free! Learn more.
