The Great Egg-stravaganza
Apr 19 @ 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Join the Easter bunny and a whole host of animals to celebrate spring at Sequoia Park Zoo during the 16th annual Great Zoo Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 19 from 12-4 p.m.

Watch the animals hunt for their own “eggs” as they dig into special treats before you set off on your own Egg Hunt and Eggspedition – children can join in the hunt at any time between noon and 4 p.m. There will be up close animal encounters and we’ll have a team of volunteers on hand to guide children (and adults) through an egg-citing array of activities, including:

  • Egg Hunt and Egg Decorating
  • Photos with the Easter Bunny (mascot)
  • Bunny ‘petting’ in the Barnyard
  • Honey Bee Toss
  • Bunny Hop
  • Insect Hide & Seek
  • Wildflower Crafts
  • Butterfly Clothespin Crafts

With all the activities going on, be sure you don’t miss the animals as they hunt for their own “eggs” at the following times:

  • 12:30 Gibbons
  • 1:00   Bush dogs
  • 1:15  Spider monkeys
  • 1:30   Barnyard
  • 2:00   Chacoan Peccaries
  • 2:30   Red Pandas
  • 3:00   Cavies & Screamers
  • 3:30   Yaks

All Eggstravaganza activities are included in the price of zoo admission – $5 for adults, $3 for children and free for children under 3. Members join the fun for free and enjoy VIP access!  So, rain or shine, bring the whole family and connect with the wild inside you on Saturday, April 19 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the zoo.
